Breakfast Porridge with Protein

Ingredients:

1/2 cup water         
1 pitted prune, chopped         
2 T dried cranberries or blueberries
2 T oat bran
2 T wheat bran         
1 T wheat germ
1 T flax seed
1 scoop low carb vanilla whey protein or vanilla pea protein
1 T agave syrup or honey (optional)
1/2 c almond milk

Directions:

Bring the water with the prune and dried berries to a boil in a pot; cook at a boil for 3 minutes.

Stir the oat bran, wheat bran, wheat germ, flax seed, and honey into the fruit mixture.

Mix almond milk and protein scoop well and add to pot. Stir well. Remove from heat and serve hot.
